The property is in a wonderful location, right on the door step of the best part of York. The property was tastefully decorated and furnished, warm and very confortable.
The owner was extremely polite and helpful. The extra touches of tea, coffee, milk and fresh flowers were gratefully received.
All in all propably one of the best properties we have stayed in and is located a stone's throw away from so many great pubs and restaurants, you a really are spoilt for choice.
We had a lovely, relaxing weekend that cost less than it would have done if we had stayed in the town centre Premier Inn. We will be back!! Mr G, HULL, North Humberside 07 February 2011
This delighful property helped us to have a wonderful birthday weekend in York. Decorated and furnished in a very tasteful manner, the property is well equipped, warm and comfortable. The owner was very polite and helpful and even said we didn't have to rush to get off on the Sunday morning. This was on top of leaving us with tea, coffee, milk and fresh flowers! The property is in a great location, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Shambles area and the York Minster with their inspiring history. The added bonus is the property's closeness to many many great pubs and restaurants. You are spoilt for choice and for a lover of Real Ales you are in heaven! We will definitely return for a short break in York; especially when the cost is less that staying in a Premier Inn in the city centre. Highly Recommended. An excellent location, and everything you could need was provided (milk and flowers included). Very cosy and warm. Mrs H, Derby, Derbyshire 06 March 2010
Very good location, short walk to all of York's attractions. Mrs. M, FARNHAM 23 January 2010
The wall walk was brilliant and you could see York really well and parts of the Minster i have not seen, and plus its free. Mrs H, SCARBOROUGH, North Yorkshire 06 December 2009
Already have recommended this cottage and your firm to many. Mrs T, BOOTLE 18 November 2009
Biggan Mews is ideal for a short break as it is so convenient to all the sights of York, and it has the added advantage of a dedicated free parking space immediately outside the entrance which is a huge bonus. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for 2 people. We loved the fact that it was light and airy due to velux windows and the decor is very cheerful and tasteful. It is lovely there in summer and would be cosy in winter. Offers more freedom than staying in a hotel yet lots of good eating places nearby. Betty's Tea Rooms perfect for a treat - I would highly recommend this holiday. Mr B, BRISTOL, Avon 15 July 2009
York is a relaxing and plenty to do place. This was our third visit and we have covered at last all the places of interest. There are lovely resturants & cafes, all with a lovely variety of food and always good service and cleanliness. Also worth a visit is Whitby, Pickering, Helmsley and Goathland village where they film the Heartbeat programme. Also Eden Camp, the prisoner of war camp during the second world war - there is such a variety of things to do. Our accommodation at Biggan Mews was an ideal location for the centre of York, not even a five minute walk from the town. We had a lovely time once again in York and the surrounding places, and the yorkshire people are really welcoming. Mrs K, Ayr, 28 June 2009
A great location less than 5 minutes from the town. Good facilities and everything you need is catered for, including a dishwasher. Little touches such as a dishcloth and washing up liquid made it much easier. Miss G, Rushden, Northamptonshire 20 February 2009
I would recommend, this holiday home to anyone who wanted to be close to the centre of York. Mr P, Nuneaton, Warwickshire 02 February 2009
Very nice relaxing stay in York, very central, accommodation perfect, would definitely recommend. Mr B, Stirling, Stirlingshire 26 January 2009
This cottage is well located for places of interest. Mrs T, Cirencester, Gloucestershire 23 May 2008
